What is the legal framework for Nordigen to provide its services?

Nordigen is a licensed Account Information Service Provider (AISP), with license issued from Financial and Capital Market Commission in Latvia. Nordigen AISP license is valid across 31 markets in Europe, including the United Kingdom. 

You can check Nordigen's licensing validity in the European Banking Authority's (EBA) Payment Institutions Register or at the homepage of the respective national competent authority.

National competent authority is an institution that carries out financial regulation in a given country. These institutions are also in charge of issuing Account Information Service Provider (AISP) and Payment Initiation Service Provider (PISP) licenses to companies.
